(CS4U) Prayer needed - Grandfather in serious/critical condition

My grandfather,John Werner, 91, who was my father figure during my childhood, got the flu a week ago which then resulted in pneumonia this week. Yesterday he was transported to the hospital where he was admitted. The report I received today is that he is in renal failure; however, he was severely dehydrated so much that he is not swelling.
My sense is that the time has come for him to "go home", especially since he is unable to care for himself for well over a year, even to the point of barely being able to move any of his extremities. (He was unable to be at Thanksgiving or at Christmas family events this year.)  My grandmother was even close to saying the same, although she stopped in the middle of her sentence and didn't finish.
this is all quite difficult. The last couple of years have been challenging to be too far away to see Grandpa on a regular basis. I feel like I'm losing my father, since he was my father figure for over 30 yrs. My brother is quite angry about how he has been cared for over the last couple of years. 
I just want Grandpa to not suffer anymore. And I want to see my brother turn to the Lord, and forgive those whom he is angry with.
Also, just need prayer  as this pain is unlike any I've ever experienced.

(CS4U) HELP, 6 wk old chiweenie quit eating and drinking today

friend got her for Christmas. All is well, except that she quit eating
and drinking and seems a little warm. What can we do? She doesn't
have the money to take her to the vet. she has thrown up once, but
wasn't much. email me directly please.

The most surprising events usually receive top billing. If you reviewed the past year of your life, what would appear on the list? Has an unexpected event caused you to question God or to more deeply experience His goodness? Psalm 77 chronicles the lament of a person in distress who felt as if God no longer cared (vv.7-9). "Has His mercy ceased forever? Has His promise failed forevermore?" (v.8). Yet, even in anguish, the psalmist said, "I will remember the works of the Lord; surely I will remember Your wonders of old" (v.11). The result was a renewal of trust and hope: "You are the God who does wonders; You have declared Your strength among the peoples" (v.14). As you think back over this past year, why not write down the significant events in your life. Don't be afraid to include your difficulties and disappointments, but remember to consider all the ways God has been with you. Trevor Reynolds is a 14-year old runaway that has been missing from Lewisville since Thanksgiving Day.  Please pass on this information to your contacts so we can get the word out.  She is the daughter of a friend of a friend.  This is an especially dangerous time to be on the streets in DFW.
