Luke 1:28. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.   Thought for Day: Favor Is Not By Accident   Reflection for the Day: God Honors Godliness    Yesterday was Mother's Day giving us time to pause and consider the traits and qualities of the great mothers written about in scripture. As we look at Mary, the mother of our Lord, we note she was referred to as highly favored and blessed among women. Her being chosen by God was not by accident but because of her lifestyle. God honors Godliness.   We often hear the term, favor is not fair, but this is not as accurate as it might appear. As you give yourself to the Lord and a Godly life you will gain His favor. As you seek to please Him you will notice favor will be in your life. God honors those that honor Him.
