Re: (CS4U) ( Genesis 1:27 *NIV )

Thank you so much Janice, I really appreciate.  Isn't is something that we were both on no mail and came back at the same time?  Then this devo did speak to me.......

This really spoke to me.  I have been struggling with church attendance.  Every week end I pray to know if I should go or not.  This is because I have been having more problems with the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.  My sleep patterns are terrible along with it.  And as a result I do what ABSOLUTELY has to be done.  Example: did not attend chuch this week end.  However I'm also almost out of bread and didn't feel like going just a short distance for it.  My sleep patterns are so out of whack even if I am "sleeping" for hours, I do not get the type of sleep that produces energy, cognition, etc., etc.  I Dread any "appointments".  I've had 2 recent sleep studies and they once again dx upper airway resistance which disturbs my sleep, as the Fibro pain does and they also picked up slight apnea but I didn't get into enough deep sleep to realize how much I have.  My REM cycle usually doesn't begin until I've been in bed and sleep in stage 1 & 2 for 6 hours.  Out of the 2 nights of sleep studies, I had one REM cycle.  The first I had none.  The second was done with CPAP and I finally went into REM just before it was time to get up.  They did allow me extra time but I think if I had more time I could be better diagnosed.  I only have Medicare since I am on SSD and they are refusing the CPAP.  So if they don't approve it, I will probably have to somehow arrange a special double study time to further prove the dx THEY (you know, they know more than the docs who say I need it!!!) go by.
ANYWAY, I've been struggling every week end because if I don't attend church I feel so guilty and question myself.  Is it the CFS/Fibro, am I being lazy, etc., etc.
Last night I just gave it to the Lord and pray for forgiveness if by not attending church I am displeasing to him.  So that helped me and I know God know what's really going on more than me.
So anyway my point being this spoke to me and I thank you. Isn't it funny how we sometimes find things that speak to us totally unplanned.  You nor I have been here much recently.  At least I don't think you have.  And here you are back with your wonderful devo's just at this point in my life.
HUGS,
Toni

 We are indeed made in God's image.  When you think about
That it means, God has feelings and emotions just like we do.
Now that means that God can experience anger just as we
Sometimes do.  Remember Noah's Flood, as well as, Sodom &
Gomorrah to just name two.  How about Jesus in the Temple
With the money changers, now that was righteous indignation
Indeed!

 Then there is Love, who has more Love than our Heavenly
Father;
"For God so loved the world that He gave His
One and only Son, that whoever believes in Him
Shall not perish but have eternal life.
And so we know and rely on the love God has for
Us.         ( John 3:16 )  &  ( 1 John 4:16 )

God also experiences sorrow, remember when Jesus went to
Raise Lazarus from the dead?  Is it not written that first;
Jesus
Wept, ( John 11:35 )
then He raised Lazarus from the dead!

 So Alaine, when you think about God remember He is
Your Loving, Caring, Heavenly Father.  A Father who understands,
And is always there for you no matter what.  One that you may
Always turn to with all of your troubles and sorrows, for He truly
Understands!

 Therefore always tell God how much you love Him when you
Pray, and never be afraid to share anything with Him!   After all;
The LORD your God is with you, He is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you
With His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."
Amen.    ( Zephaniah 3:17 )

So God created man in his own image,
In the image of God he created him;
