Re: (CS4U) Monday Monday

Sue, I don't know how you keep up with all the continual changes in
your life. I take that back, I know how you do it. With our Lord.
How else would it be possible? I am glad you have your family with
you and you can all help each other.
My middle son is still living with me. He often grunts, "I gotta get
out of here!" And I know it is hard for him to have my presence so
close all the time. But the economy is forcing us to live together
and help each other.

Your house sounds nice. The facility where I work goes overboard
decorating for Christmas. There is constant Christmas music playing
in my area, and Christmas trees up all over, and decorations. They
put lights out all over outside. So I do get enough of it at work to
not miss decorating my home! Anyway, it's too cluttered with all our
Storage right in the living room!

I will be working Christmas Eve, two jobs, from 6 a.m. to 4:30p.m.
Then going to candlelight service at church at 5:30. I will miss our
families get together at my sisters house. My mom isn't happy with me
about that, but I will be too tired to socialize with them. Rather go
to church and light a candle and worship the Reason for the Season.
Then back to work on Christmas morning at 6:00 a.m.
I have worked most Christmases for the past 20 years there, so that
actually feels right.
The good news is I have 6 days off starting this Saturday. Yay.

Childhood memories? Well I have Never liked Santa Claus, so having to
talk to him and tell him what I wanted or write him letters was always
weird to me. I thought it was a big lie and was just uncomfortable
with Santa. But I would wish upon a star for whatever I wanted, and
one year that wish came true. I was longing for this big
lilac-colored stuffed dog, and there it was by the Christmas tree on
Christmas morning.
