(CS4U) Just a little prayer

Be merciful to us O God, for many hotly pursue us. They come in many forms; sometimes a debt collector, sometimes a person who attacks our character by slander, and sometimes, Lord , it is in the disguise of our health/ disease/ or death of those close to us. We ask for your strength and guidance when we are afraid and turning to you. Help us to realize that our possessions,jobs, even our earthly bodies hold no true worth, our future is with You, in a far better land than this earth has seen. Lord focus our minds on remembering the suffering that our Savior endured on our behalf. Nothing that we endure here on earth can ever compare to that. We praise Your word, the works of your hands, and ask for guidance in being good stewards to all the things/people that you place in our lives. Help us as we strive to move closer to you each and every day of our lives. In Jesus name Amen   Thank you for spending these few minutes in worship and prayer with me today. Sue
