(CS4U) Good Morning, cs4u

Verse of the day.
Pride goes before destruction, And a
haughty spirit before a fall.
         ( Proverbs 16:18 *NKJV )

Remy, my yellow lab. is a funny dog. He's a a big dog, weighing in around 80 -85 lbs. He's all muscle. I once threw a stick into the woods and asked him to fetch and he brought back an oak sapling that fallen. As bad as pit bulls are known to be Remy held one down to the ground with one paw and dared it to get up. He's a big beautiful dog but with all his beauty and all his power he is gentle and loving. Pillsbury, the ugly brat of the house is constantly biting Remy's ears and Remy just sits there and takes it. If Remy is playing with a favorite toy or chewing on a bone, Pills will take it away from him and Remy will just look at him and wait until Pills get tired and gives it back. I get mad at him and yell at him to have some pride and get that bone back. Instead he rolls on his back and waits for a belly scratch. No pride at all.
Isn't it funny that when mentioning the 7 deadly sins. PRIDE is always the first. If you analyze all the other sins PRIDE is the underlying culprit.So the next time someone steals your bone do what Remy does. Who know you probably will get it back and get a belly scratch too.
Dear  CS4U
   It is written we are to humble ourselves, and not let our
pride or ego get in the way when dealing with others.  For;
Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and
He who humbles himself will be exalted.
( Matthew 23:12 )
For; "God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble."  ( James 4:6 )

So never let your pride or ego convince you that you
are more righteous than another.  Alter all, we are all God's
Children and He loves each of us equally.
Therefore
let us stop passing judgment on one another.
Instead, make up your mind not to put any
stumbling block or obstacle in your brother's
way.                                           ( Romans 14:13 )

Also remember the words of our Savior Jesus Christ,
for He said of the end time;
Many who are first
will be last, and many who are last will be first.
Therefore Hector, Humble yourselves in
the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
For the Lord takes delight in His people; He
crowns the humble with salvation.
( Matthew 19:30 ) ( James 4:10 ) ( Psalms 149:4 )

Have a Wonderful Day, CS4U, and may God's Blessings
be with You as well.  Amen.

All My Love & Prayers,
      Pastor Allen
