Re: (CS4U) Easter

Easter was a great day.  I participated in cooking for our church breakfast.  The church was so pretty all decked out for Easter.  We had the best ever church service.  You should hear us singing and praising the Lord, it is awesome.

Then I went to visit my Aunt Marion.  So glad I went.  She has been in the same room in the rest home the whole time she has been there.  Everything has it's place, and she HAS to have it that way.  Well when I got there, an aide was in her room cleaning and had the room torn apart.  About 45 minutes later she let us go in, and she had totally rearranged the whole room, AND all my aunts personal stuff.  Wow, that was very rude and intrusive!  I hope she meant well and wasn't just doing it "for sport".   My poor aunt was stunned and started weeping saying how could they be so mean to her.  Praise God He sent me there at that time. I tried to reassure her that the aide was" dumb as a box of rocks" but meant well.  Then I proceeded to move everything back to where it used to be.  I fear my aunt would have had a serious mental breakdown if I hadn't been there to put it all back in place. 

Now I have to write a letter to the lady running the place.  I cannot let this go without an official complaint, but I needed to calm down so I am not offensive.

So, my Easter was a great day.  Great day for food, praise and worship in the morning, and it ended up being a great visit with my aunt after all.

Our church since it is large had an event on Saturday with Easter egg hunging, games and bounce houses, it was great to see the large crowd  then on Sunday we had a continental breakfast that too was wonderful. Now my body was a bit upset with me after working those both, but I survived. The only sad part of Easter Sunday is that it was the year mark of mom passing so it was bittersweet. Hugs Bren
