Question for David,

I am in the thinking process about purchasing a new computer.  I have an emaching from 2005 with Windows XP Media edition.  things need major cleaning up, and I don't know if I should clean up this monster, get a flat screen, or get a laptop.  then I wonder should I get wireless.  I just don't know what I am going to do yet. 

Do you have any advice...pros and cons...what are the best makes of computers? 

My son and I like to put lots of music on the computer, and I am an information junkie. 

Any pointer you may have will be welcome.
