Thought for the Day: Love Results In Obedience
Reflection for the Day: How Well Is Your Love Demonstrated?
Three times Jesus asked of Peter, "lovest thou me". Each time Peter responded in the affirmative and was then instructed to feed the Lord's children. It was clear that if his love was true he would be obedient to the Lord's request. Love results in obedience.
God has given an assignment to each of His children. Regardless of your role within the Kingdom the Lord expects you to fulfill that which is set before you. Your words of praise are important but they become without meaning if your love is not demonstrated with obedience. |
