Now Paul, the Greek word for Revelation is 'apokalupsis'
pronounced "Apocalypse," meaning [ to unveil or uncover.]
So before we begin let me assure you there is Nothing to fear
for those who are redeemed or saved! After all, it is written;
in [ Rev 7:2-4 Then I saw another angel ascending from the east,
having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to
the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the
sea, saying, "Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we
have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads." For it
is also written; [ Luke 21:18 But not a hair of your head shall be
lost,] because God's Children will be protected by that seal!
Further Paul, it is written in Psalms; Psalm 91:7-12;
7 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right
hand; But it shall not come near you. 8 Only with your eyes shall
you look ,And see the reward of the wicked. 9 Because you have
made the LORD, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your
dwelling place, 10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come
near your dwelling; 11 For He shall give His angels charge over
you, To keep you in all your ways. 12 In their hands they shall bear
you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. ( Ps 91:7-12 )
So there is NOTHING TO FEAR about the events that are
written in these lessons, for those who are saved!

Revelation, Chapter 16
16:1 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven
angels, "Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the
earth."
The loud voice from the Temple is voice of God, because
no other Heavenly Being is allowed into the Temple until
the seven seals, trumpets, and bowls are completed!
2 So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a
foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of
the beast and those who worshiped his image.
The first bowl causes a terrible sore upon all who have
the mark of the beast ( Rev 16:13; 16 & 17 ). Think
back to Exodus now where the Egyptians faced a
similar affliction during the sixth plague of Exodus.
( see Exodus 9:9; 10; & 11 )
3 Then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it
became blood as of a dead man; and every living creature in the sea
died.
The second bowl turns the sea into blood. Note that
the second trumpet likewise turns the sea to blood.
( see Rev 8:8 ) The trumpet starts by affecting one
third of the sea, ( Rev 8:8-9 ). Now the bowl
completes this judgment regarding the final two thirds
that are left.
Remember a similar verse in Exodus where the Nile
River is turned to blood? Ex 7:17-21 ) However this
time the whole World is affected instead of just one
river.
4 Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs
of water, and they became blood.
The third bowl, just as the third trumpet ( 8:10 ) targets
the rivers and springs of water. This indeed will make
the water bitter to say the least. ( 8:11 )
This is an allision to the first Egyptain plague, Exodus 7:20.
It appears that whatever plagues God inflicted on Egypt in
the Book of Exodus, God will inflict on the enimes of His
people in the end times. You see, Exodus is a preview
of what to expect in the end. Do not worry however, for
God's Children will be spared these plaguse just as they
were in Egypt in ancient times.
5 And I heard the angel of the waters saying:
"You are righteous, O Lord,
The One who is and who was and who is to be,
Because You have judged these things.
6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets,
And You have given them blood to drink.
For it is their just due."
Who do you suppose the angel was speaking
about in this verse? Let us turn to the Book of
Matthew for the answer to that question,
where it is written:
31 "Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that you are sons
of those who murdered the prophets. 32 Fill up, then, the measure of
your fathers' guilt. 33 Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape
the condemnation of hell? 34 Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets,
wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and
some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute
from city to city, 35 that on you may come all the righteous blood
shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel* to the blood of
Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple
and the altar. ( Matt 23:31-36 )
Now I ask you who killed Abel? Cain of course, and who
was Cain's father? Remember our study in Genesis where
we learned who Cain's father really was? ( see Genesis
Chapters 4-5.) Thus who Jesus was speaking to here are
the Kenites. For in Hebrew Kenites mean [ sons of Cain! ]
Strong's Number 7017. Just a little detective work here in
God's Word for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.
Their Spiritual eyes and ears wide open that is!
7 And I heard another from the altar saying, "Even so, Lord God
Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments."
8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power
was given to him to scorch men with fire.
This bowl is similar to the fourth trumpet in that it
also affects the sun. However at this point the sun
is intensified instead of diminished.
"Scorch Men With Fire," remember what is written
about the two witnesses? Well, I will refresh your
memory. Now it is written:
3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy
one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth." 4
These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before
the God of the earth. **5 And if anyone wants to harm them, fire
proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone
wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner.
( Rev 11:3-5 )
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the
name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not
repent and give Him glory.
Those who are fooled into thinking satan is Jesus will
speak blasphemy against God, still believing that satan
is the true god! Thus they have the mark of the beast
in their heads.
10 Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the
beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed
their tongues because of the pain.
The fifth bowl and trumpet involve the Euphrates River.
With the water of the river dried up, an invasion from
the east would be much easier! This has to do with
demonically inspired military forces.
This refers to satan's world-wide authority. For "satan's
throne" is used to speak of his foothold on the World
at this time.
The pain and sores, remember were spoken of with the
fifth trumpet. Where the demonic locusts stung those
not having the seal of God in their foreheads, and
causing them great torment.
11 They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and
their sores, and did not repent of their deeds.
12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river
Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings
from the east might be prepared.
Now on the sixth Trumpet, Seal and Bowl the antichrist
appears. Antichrist in Greek means "Instead of Christ."
using your Strongs Concordance check out the word
antichrist in the Greek Dictionary, it is number 500. You
see the antichrist will appear claiming to be Jesus, and
appearing that he is. This is why the "Rapture Theory"
is so very dangerous. Those who are ignorant of God's
Word will fall for it and start worshiping the antichrist
thinking that he is the Savior come to rapture them away.
Now if you believe in the "Rapture Theory" check it out
using the Search Engine Google or Yahoo. Just type in
the word Rapture and click search. Then click on any
Link and you will find the truth!
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth
of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of
the false prophet.
These "Unclean Spirits," the dragon (satan,) the beast
(antichrust) and the false prophet will spread the false
authoritative words claiming that it is the word of God.
Satan, the antichrist, and the false prophet are a unholy
trinity indeed!
Now there will be great deception involved, and it will be
used to persuade the whole world to gather for battle
against our God. Here the kings of the earth are willing
to wage war against the ture God because they have
been fooled into believing in the false god..
14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to
the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the
battle of that great day of God Almighty.
Here the kings of the earth are willing to wage war
against God. This is because of their confidence
in the power of the beast, since they reason,
"Who is able to make war with him?" Now how
very soon they will find out!
This is building up to the battle of Armageddon.
15 Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and
keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame."
"Coming as a thief in the night," are the words of
Jesus Christ. For He said:
But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour
the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his
house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son
of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. ( Matthew 24:43-44 )
Also it is written:
For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes
as a thief in the night. ( 1 Thess 5:2 )
16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew,
Armageddon.
Armageddon in Hebrew means [ Mount of Megiddo ] See 717
in the Greek Dictionary found in the Strong's Concordance.
This will be the final battle between good and evil.
17 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a
loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying,
"It is done!"
The seventh seal, bowl and trumpet have all sounded
or taken place. Now this signals Christ's Return which
happens with the Seventh Trumpet, Seal & Bowl, and
Not before!
18 And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there
was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had
not occurred since men were on the earth.
19 Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of
the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to
give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.
Babylon seems to be the epicenter of the most
destructive earthquake. However the earthquake
it seems will be felt world-wide, wrecking havoc
on the Cities and Nations of the Earth.
20 Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
21 And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about
the weight of a talent. Men blasphemed God because of the plague
of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great.
Hail falling from Heaven with each stone weighing
a talent, or about 180 pounds that is, would be
tremendously destructive indeed! Just think about
it for a moment, if you can imagine that!
Well with that "hail storm" we now end Chapter Sixteen. Next week
on to Chapter Seventeen, where we will find a scarlet woman and a
scarlet beast as well. Now what dose that mean, we will find out
