I would love for her to take this job as it would mean she and her family would move back to the Kansas City, KS area, which is only 6 hours from me.  So I have selfish reasons for wanting her to take this job, but I want it to be God's will not mine, nor hers, that she takes this job.   Third, Dennis, whom I stayed with last summer (2009) while he was undergoing chemo and rads for colon cancer, and whose wife was a dear, dear friend, has been diagnosed with lung cancer.  He started chemo a week ago.  It's in both lungs so a pulmonectomy (removal of one lung) isn't an option.  Also, the lymph node that had all but disappeared with the rounds of treatment for the colon cancer has reared its ugly head and quadrupled in size.  It can't be removed, nor biopsied, because its in a highly vascular area and the docs consider it inoperable.   He will be coming here for Thanksgiving.   Please pray for successful treatment of the lung cancer; for that lymph node to be affected by the treatment and go back to normal; and for journey's mercies as he travels to and from MN to IL next week.
