(CS4U) In The Beginning

 

In The Beginning   "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Genesis 1:1   In the beginning God created everything: the things we see and the things we don't. And each morning, the sun rises upon a glorious world that is a physical manifestation of God's unlimited power and His never-ending love. And yet, because of the nonstop demands of everyday life, we're sometimes too busy to notice. We live in a society filled with more distractions than we can possibly count and more obligations than we can possibly meet. It is no wonder that we often overlook God's handiwork as we rush from place to place; giving hardly a single thought to the beauty that surrounds us. Today, take the time to really observe the world around you. Take time to offer a prayer of thanks for the sky above and the beauty that lies beneath it. And take time to ponder the miracle of God's creation. The time you spend celebrating God's wonderful world is always time well spent.   Prayer Dear Heavenly Father, You have created such a beautiful and amazing world in which I live in. There is so much beautify and Your handiwork can be seen everywhere I look. Please help me slow down enough to notice the things around me and to give You all the praise and glory for them. I pray this in Jesus' Name. Amen
