about what your church uses for Communion? Specifically the juice that is used. Just had an online friend hospitalized for an allergic reaction to the juice that her church used for Communion this past Sunday. She didn't know the ingredients, and had never had a reaction before. Blessedly, she had benadryl with her and took one as soon as she realized she was having a reaction to it, but she still ended up having to go to the hospital as her breathing kept getting worse. She will probably add an epi-pen to her purse now. Most people aren't allergic to grape juice, but if it's a grape flavored drink then you never know exactly what's in it. Definitely a case for endorsing 100% juice. Just thinking here.... pk | ||
