Paul just called . Carl's liver has not complete stopped functioning. HIs heart is now in jeopardy His cardiac output at this time is under 30%. His Dr. Has told him that , if they are able to pull him through this crisis, he must have help, and if he ever drinks again, he will die. Carl is saying that he wants help....... Please remember Paul in prayer as well as Carl. He took Carl to the Doctor this am, they told them to go on to the ER. Carl is in Liver Failure. He has edema from his chest down. He had been complaining to Paul about the swelling in his legs, and that is what they went to the DR for.......Paul said that when Carl put on the hospital gown that he looked like he was pregnant. He, also said that the nurse mentioned Carl's coloring being yellow,,,, He has been placed in Intensive Care and is NPO (nothing by mouth). He is expected to be in ICU for about 4 days. So many questions right now..... Depending on the amount of damage done, Carl will be placed on a Liver transplant list. Thanks everyone sue |
