Jim is Christelle's finance. They will be married in Feb. He is from Ohio, was in the AF for 11 years, then the railroad and a year ago when the railroad closed their yard in his area, he began to drive an 18 wheeler.......  His goal is to continue to drive until there is an opening for the railroad in the Baltimore area. So within the next 30 days , he will swing his support to our budget..... Jim is a special guy, raised by Missionaries on a Indian reservation in South Dakota. He loves the Lord and "fits" in christelle and the kids lives like he has been there all along.   I  wish that you could see my Christmas tree, it was one given to us this summer. It is a small 6 foot. That I literally covered in all the old ornaments, and some poinsetta blooms. I love the crochetted angels but did not see any this year, so there are only 4 on the tree, hopefully, I will find someone making them this year, and get a few more. The tree only needed 1 string of lights. We put it in front of the bay window. I , also set 3 large Santas (that were part of that estate sale from across the street) in that same bay window....looks good.....makes me smile. I have always loved Christmas lights....   In New Orleans, as in each city, there were several homes that we always visited each year to see their displays. I remember one that the people added more displays to each year. Each scene was dolls that the lady had dressed for that scene, and the man motorized them, so that they moved. The displays were in giant glass fronted cases. They played wondereful old Christmas music. They had a small donation box , sitting on the fence top, so you could make a donation when you walked through to help pay the light bill.   We have a neighbor on the corner here that has an entire yard done in red flashing lights, and they play lous synthesized music each evening..... Heehee, it is not a delightful experience....we need to donate some Christmas carols on a cd for their display.......   So do you have a very decorated place near your home, do they play music, and please share a wonderful memory from your childhood with us....   Will you be with family or alone this year? I think a friend from church who is single with no family in this area will be dropping by. We talked about it , yesterday.   Lane came back from the Raiders Drum and Bugle corp as first chair trumpetor. It is requiring a Lot of practice , as his parts are all the high notes......kinda reminds me of the Jazz from back home in New Orleans.   Time to go, the natives are becoming restless around here, LOL....... Lane is Trumpeting, Dakota is chatting about Barbies, Christelle is calling about something.....
